WISER: Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders

WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders) is National Library of Medicine's PDA tool for first responders to Hazmat incidences such as spills of hazardous materials. It provides critical information on hazardous substances, including physical characteristics, human health data, and containment and suppression information -- all on a hand-held device (currently, the Palm OS and the Pocket PC).

The software is available for free.
