2006 Version of SciFinder Scholar Available Now
SciFinder Scholar provides you with quick and easy access to a wide diversity of research from many scientific disciplines. The 2006 version is now available from the library. For those who use the Chemical Abstracts database, please replace the old version to take advantage of the new features. To download the new version, go to the library's Home page at http://library.uchc.edu/ Under the "Databases" link, click on the letter "S" and look for the SciFinder "download" link. Follow the instructions for either the Mac version or the PC windows version.
Some of the new, powerful features are:
* Structure Similarity Searching
* New structure and reaction query tools: Variable Attachment Position tool and Repeating Group tool
* Easy access to additional reaction information
* Enhanced multi-step reaction display
* New quick look-up of research references
* Duplicate detection/removal...and much more!
