images.MD - Available in the library
images.MD, the online encyclopedia of medical images, compiles over 50,000 high-quality images spanning all of internal medicine, all derived from Current Medicine’s renowned series of illustrated atlases. Each image is accompanied by detailed and informative text written by over 2,000 contributing experts.

FEBRUARY 2007 DATABASE CLASSES
SEARCHING AND ACCESSING HEALTH SCIENCE INFORMATION RESOURCES
Target Audience: Physicians, Researchers, Faculty, Staff and Students
Location: Computer Education Classrooms – Lyman Maynard Stowe Library
These classes will provide hands-on training and demonstrations by UCHC Reference Librarians. Each class will outline quick and efficient means of searching and managing citation information for the four databases listed below. There is no charge for these classes but enrollment is limited to UCHC personnel only. To register in advance for any of these quick courses, please call UCHC Library Information & Education Services Department at 679-4051 or send an email to ref@nso.uchc.edu

Drug Database for BlackBerry PDA Users
UCHC Library has obtained a license that allows BlackBerry PDA users to access Lexi-Comp software.
For software installation instructions, go to the Library Webpage, click on the Database link, select Lexi-Comp PDA and follow the Blackberry Instructions provided.
If you prefer to have assistance in the installation process, please stop by the CEC (Computer and Education Center) in the library. CEC staff will be on hand to help you with this process.
