OneSearch: New Search Tool
The library unveiled its newest and most exciting search tool, OneSearch. OneSearch is a discovery tool that lets you search across our library’s collections simultaneously. This means that you can search for books, media, journals, and articles from resources like PubMed, Web of Science and more in one search.
OneSearch is as simple as using Google-- enter your keywords and search.
OneSearch’s sign-in feature (last name and library barcode), recognizes you as a UCHC affiliate and unlocks additional resources to include in your search.
OneSearch can save time by cross searching library resources, displaying relevant results first, discovering content that could have been missed by searching just one resource, and narrowing down your results with facets like publication date or format.
OneSearch connects you with the information that you want by letting you view it online (if available), requesting it in the library, or borrowing it from another library through interlibrary loan.
OneSearch is in beta phase and we welcome any and all feedback that you have to help us improve OneSearch.
